We've all read tons of quotes about how it doesn't matter when you will get somewhere if you don't know where you are going.
But there is nothing quite like the onset of middle age to drive home this point. Its quite interesting really, to wake up one fine morning and realize that you have no clue where you are going or what you really want to do with your life. But while these questions generate angst in teens, in later years you just kind of smile at them like old and somewhat distant friends.
You know you are never going to figure it out completely, but that's OK, you can still think about them and carry on.
