When you 're coding, or doing the cross-word maybe, or staring at a blank piece of paper trying to think of how to get started, it often helps to just walk away for a while.
And then when you sit down again you get that 'aha' moment and everything falls into place - we've all been there.
What exactly happens in that space of time is a mystery, but the end result is often that we discover we've been trying to push in a door marked 'pull'.
No amount of effort can get past such a situation - the only way is to step back, look at the bigger picture, and ask yourself: "am I not trying hard enough ? or have I been running as hard as I can in the wrong direction...?"
